Intec Infra was involved in the preparation of 3D BIM modeling for the Walmart India prototype shop, which was a joint venture between Bharti INDIA and Walmart at the time. In 2007, Walmart opened its first store in India on 29 May 2009 in Amritsar, Punjab. Walmart India became Walmart Inc's wholly-owned subsidiary in 2013.
